Dhanteras
The day before Deepavali.
Dhanteras is a combination of two words. 'Dhan' denotes wealth, and 'Teras' denotes the thirteenth day of Krishna Paksha. On this day, Goddess
I lit 13 lamps in front of Lakshmi , Ganesha photo. Offered neivedyam and water.
Recited Lalitha Sahasranamam, bhagya sukatam and sang songs on ambal .
Out side the house ,I lit 4 lamps facing south for Lord Yama . It's called Yama deepam.
Also listened to Dhanavantri stothram and kubera stuthi.
